Bank First National is committed to protecting the privacy rights of all its customers. Bank First National will not disclose nonpublic personally identifiable customer information to nonaffiliated third parties except as provided below: - To maintain or service the consumer’s account with the bank;
- As necessary to effect, administer, or enforce a transaction;
- In order to service or process a financial product or service that the customer requests;
- As required by law.
We may share information with companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. Information shared is bound by strict confidentiality guidelines and shared based on our determination that doing so may be beneficial to the customer. Bank First National will advise each customer of its information sharing practices. This will be accomplished by giving each new customer a copy of its privacy notice and mailing a copy of its privacy notice annually thereafter. It is the intent of Bank First National to protect and secure its customers nonpublic personal financial information and to use it only as necessary. Therefore,employee access to customer information will be restricted only to that information they need to successfully provide products or services to Bank First National customers, as set forth in the employee handbook, Statement of Confidentiality; and nonpublic personal identifiable customer information disclosed outside of Bank First National will only be that information necessary to provide the particular service requested by our customer, to offer a product of Bank First National (i.e. Elan card), or jointly market a product with another financial institution (i.e. Vincent Group) The compliance officer will monitor the dissemination of nonpublic personally identifiable information to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and this policy. All nonpublic personally identifiable information collected by Bank First National will be protected through physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards. These standards are set forth in the Information Security Program of Bank First National.
